RoboCupRescue Robot League 2002

2002 Fields

RoboCupResdcue Robot League 2002 uses two NIST standard fields.  The detail was designed and produced by National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation in Tokyo, and we will use them by the courtecy of the museum.

The field design was slightly changed as follows.

• Yellow Zone:  It is called Office Field this year, because it simulates an office in disaster.
• Orange Zone:  It is called Japanese House Field, because it includes a mock-up of a Japanese-style room.
• Red Zone:  Instead of NIST Red Zone, we use a debris field that simulates Kobe Earthquake by which more than 6,400 people were killed.

Photos are shown in the following.  The width of corridors and steps (distance between poles) is about 90 cm.  Total size of each field is 4.5 x 9 m.  Guess the size of each part by these values.
